GoGo VELO - « Le tour du monde en 42 jours »

« Le tour du monde en 42 jours » - la mission de la première campagne GoGo VELO à l'automne 2024.

Même si l'été représente pour beaucoup de personnes la période idéale pour de longues randonnées à vélo, l'automne 2024 sera également placé sous le signe du vélo:

En effet, la première édition de « GoGo VELO » sera lancée du 20 septembre au 31 octobre avec la mission « Le tour du monde en 42 jours ». Le but est d’atteindre ensemble le plus grand nombre possible de tours du monde (40.075 km) à vélo en 6 semaines ! L'objectif principal de la campagne - une initiative de ProVelo asbl et de Klima-Bündnis Lëtzebuerg avec le soutien du ministère de la Mobilité et des Travaux publics - est de promouvoir et d'établir le vélo comme moyen de transport au quotidien.

Tous les participant*es sont invité*es à utiliser le vélo le plus souvent possible comme moyen de transport au quotidien et pendant leurs loisirs. Pour les motiver, des défis passionnants ont été intégrés à la campagne (par exemple, nombre de jours de vélo pendant une période donnée ou des défis de distance). S'ils sont relevés avec succès, les participant*es se qualifieront pour le tirage au sort afin de gagner des super prix !

Pour participer, il suffit de télécharger l'application « Radbonus » dans votre Appstore. À partir de septembre, la campagne nationale « GoGo VELO » sera disponible dans cette application, où les intéressé*es pourront s'inscrire. Pendant le trajet, il suffit de lancer l'application avec le bouton de suivi - du 20 septembre au 31 octobre, les kilomètres parcourus seront automatiquement ajoutés à la mission totale ainsi qu'à tous les défis disponibles.

De plus, tou*tes les participant*es auront la possibilité de signaler l'état des infrastructures cyclables via l’application et ainsi contribuer à leur amélioration – un engagement qui en vaut vraiment la peine !

"Around the world in 42 days" is the mission of the first GoGo VELO campaign in autumn 2024

While summer is the ideal time for many people to go on long bike rides, autumn 2024 will also be all about cycling:

The first edition of "GoGo VELO" will take place from September 20 to October 31 with the mission "Around the world in 42 days". The goal is to cycle around the world (40,075 km) as many times as possible in 6 weeks! The main objective of the campaign - an initiative of ProVelo asbl and Climate Alliance Luxembourg with the support of the Ministry of Mobility and Public Works - is to further promote and establish the bicycle as an everyday mode of transport.

All participants are encouraged to use the bicycle as often as possible in daily life and leisure time. Exciting challenges have been incorporated into the campaign as motivation for this (e.g. number of cycling days in a certain period or distance challenges), which - if successfully completed - qualify participants for a raffle draw with great prizes!

To participate, simply download the "Radbonus" app from the Appstore. Starting in September, the national "GoGo VELO" campaign will be available on this app, which interested participants can then register. During the ride, just start the app with the tracking button - from September 20 to October 31, the kilometres cycled will automatically be added to the overall mission as well as to all available challenges.

Additionally, all participants will have the opportunity to report the condition of cycling infrastructure via the app and thus contribute to its improvement – an effort that is definitely worthwhile!
